Save a recipe from a photo

Photograph a cookbook page, a handwritten card or a screenshot — daili writes the recipe for you, in your language.

Have a recipe on paper or in a screenshot? daili can type it up for you.

1. On Home, tap Recipes, then +, then From a photo.
2. Tap Take photo or Choose from library.
3. A library photo is shown first. If the recipe is sharp and readable, tap Read this photo.
4. The New recipe form opens, already filled in. Check the amounts, then tap Create.

The recipe comes out in your phone's language, whatever language the page is in. Printed or clearly written text works best.

Note: The photo goes to Google's AI to be read, then is deleted, without camera data like location. daili asks you first, and Settings → AI features (Google Gemini) switches it off.
