Fill an event from a photo

Snap a school letter, invitation or flyer — daili picks out the dates for you.

Dates on paper? The scan icon in New event reads them.

1. Open Calendar, tap +, then the scan icon at the top right.
2. Tap Take photo or Choose from library.
3. A library photo is shown first. If the dates are readable, tap Read this photo.
4. One date: the form is filled. Check it and tap Save.
5. Several: untick what you don't need, tap a date or time to change it, then tap Add N events.

Printed text works best, handwriting less so. For a PDF, photograph the page.

Note: The photo goes to Google's AI to be read, then is deleted, without camera data like location. daili asks you first, and Settings → AI features (Google Gemini) switches it off.
