Shopping categories and your own ones

Group a shopping list by aisle, in the order of your own supermarket, and add categories of your own.

New items get a category from their name, so milk lands in Dairy. Group the list by category and you walk through the shop once.

  1. Open a shopping list and tap ⋯ at the top.
  2. Turn on Group by category.
  3. Tap Categories and drag them into the order you walk through your shop.
  4. Tap a category to rename it, change its emoji or hide it. Tap Add category to make your own, up to 30.
  5. To move one item, tap it, pick a Category and tap Save.

Note: You can delete only the categories you added: tap one, then tap Delete category. Its items stay on your lists, just without a category.
