Reminders and the default reminder

Get a reminder before an event starts, and choose the reminders every new event starts with.

A reminder is a notification before the event starts. An event can have up to 5.

1. In a new event, tap Add reminder under Reminder.
2. Tick one or more times, like 15 minutes or 1 day before. For another time, tap Custom….
3. Tap Save on the event.

Want the same reminders on every new event? In Calendar, tap the gear at the top right. Under Reminders, tap Default reminder and tick up to 5. Keep Event reminders switched on there, or no reminders arrive on this phone.

Note: A shared event reminds the whole family. A private event only reminds you.
