Import a calendar file (.ics)

Copy events and to-dos from an .ics file into your family calendar. You pick which ones.

Got a calendar file (.ics) from a school or club? daili copies its events into your family calendar once.

1. Open Calendar and tap the settings button (the gear) at the top right.
2. Under Other calendars, tap Add a calendar, then Import a file (.ics), and pick the file.
3. On Import calendar file, untick what you don't want. Tap a date or time to change it.
4. Tap the add button at the bottom.

Or start from the file in Mail, Files or your downloads: share it to daili, or on Android open it with daili.

Past events and finished to-dos are left out. Entries you already have start unticked. Some repeat rules can't be copied, so those events are added once. To-dos go into the list you pick under Add to.

Note: The file is read on this phone and not uploaded. Importing works in the phone app, not on the web.
