Budget settings, categories, rollover and export

Change a budget's name, period, limit and who sees it. Manage categories, move what's left to next month, or export a CSV file.

In a budget, tap ⋯ → Settings. Details come first: name, icon, period, Limit, currency and Who can see it. Tap Save at the bottom.

Move what's left to next month is for repeating budgets with a limit. Money you don't spend is added to next month's limit; the budget then shows, for example, "of €2,500 + €212 from September". Overspending is never carried.

In Categories, each row shows this month's spending, and New category is at the top. daili warns you if the category limits add up to more than the budget.

Export makes a CSV file for Excel. In German-style regions it uses semicolons and 12,50.

Note: Anyone who sees a budget can export it. Only its maker, or a family admin who can see it, can change or delete it. A new currency changes the label, not the amounts.
