Bring in birthdays from your contacts

Pick the birthdays saved in your phone's contacts and add them all at once.

Your phone may already know your family's birthdays. Bring them in, in one go.

1. On Home, tap Birthdays, then the gear at the top.
2. Tap Import from contacts, then Continue, and allow access to your contacts.
3. Tick the birthdays you want, or tap Select all.
4. Leave Remind me on the day on if you'd like a reminder.
5. Tap Import.

With no birthdays yet, you'll also find Import from contacts right on the Birthdays screen.

Note: Your contacts stay on your phone. Only the birthdays you tick are uploaded: the name and the date, nothing else.
